The gain distribution of supersonic discharge-driven CW HF chemical laser is measured by small signal gain measurement system. Gain distribution curves of P1 (4) , P1 (6) , P2 (4) , P2 (5) , P2 (6) are obtained at four different laser power, and the highest gain spectral line is P2 (4) with the highest gain of 0. 1 cm-1. The position of the highest gain is just the best position of optical axis. Under supersonic air stream, the gain zone extends to 2. 5 cm.
