Along with the rapid economic development of provinces in China,environmental problems are becoming more and more serious. Hence,the evaluation of the development level of provincial economic-environmental composite system becomes the premise of achieving sound and rapid development of the regions. The author uses DEA to build coordinated development evaluation model of the economic-environmental composite system,and evaluates the coordinated development of 29 provinces in China during 2001—2009. The result shows that the harmonious development of economy and environment in various regions of China,has close relationship with developed degree,the coordinated development level of the eastern region is much higher than the central and western regions,and the imbalance of regional coordinated development level is worsening.% 中国及各省市的经济快速发展带来了严重的环境问题，评估各省市经济-环境复合系统协调发展水平成为实现各地区又好又快发展的前提。应用DEA方法构建了经济-环境复合系统协调发展评价模型，评估了中国29个省市2001—2009年的协调发展情况，结果表明中国各地区经济-环境协调发展与地区发达程度密切相关，东部地区协调发展水平远远高于中西部地区，地区之间协调发展水平的不均衡性日趋严重。
