广西壮族自治区有壮、 瑶、 苗、 侗等11个世居少数民族聚居, 少数民族人口位居全国少数民族总人口首位. 本文阐述了少数民族文化元素在广西城镇公共建筑中的应用的必要性, 对如何融入提出了自己的见解. 最终目的在于通过在城镇建设中应用本地的民族特色文化元素, 来打造出广西每个城镇的特色和品牌, 避免出现 "千城一面" 的现象, 突出各个城镇独特的特色文化氛围, 同时保护与弘扬中华优秀传统文化. 呼吁各级政府及有关企事业单位重视民族文化元素的应用, 传承民族优秀传统文化.%There are 11 ethnic minority groups such as the Zhuang , Yao, Miao, Dong etc.inhabited in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for generations .Minority population in Guangxi ranks at the top po-sition of the total minority population of the country .This paper illustrates the necessity of application of eth-nic cultural elements in the construction of public architectures in cities and towns of Guangxi .It aims at the creation of characteristics and brands of each towns of Guangxi in the avoidance of resemblance of towns through the application of elements of local ethnic cultures in the construction of towns .It highlights the u-nique cultural atmosphere of each town and the protection and propagation of excellent Chinese traditional culture at the same time.It argues that governments at all levels and the relevant enterprises and institutions should attach great importance to the application of national cultural elements in order to inherit excellent traditional minority culture .
