ARCHEAN CRUST-NUCLEUS STRUCTURES AND THEIR MEGAMETEORITE IMPACT ORIGIN──Taking Dabie Mountain,China as an example

In Dabie Mountain, central China, it is shown that the Archean rock assemblages are con-trolled by megameteorite impacted structures (MIS) and are formed from megameteorite impactedbasins which evolved by penetrating and filling of magmatic intrusion and sedimentatioh. As theyare similar to nucleus in the Earth’s crust, they are named crust-nucleus structures (CNS).
