新型的遥感数据MODIS在近年来得到了比较广泛的应用,该数据有很多优点,在地理科学与资源管理中的应用潜力很大。深入研究该数据采用的HDF文件的数据结构,是开发自主知识产权的遥感图像处理软件的前提工作。本文就:什么是HDF,为什么创造HDF,HDF的高等级应用程序接口,HDF命令行用法和可视化工具,主要的HDF平台,HDF的基本原理,HDF文件格式,用多文件接口对HDF文件的基本操作,确定一个文件是否为HDF文件等问题展开了讨论。%MODIS data has been applied in many fields in recent years. MODIS shows many advantages, and it can be used in geographical sciences and resource management. HDF file format, adopted as MODIS data storage format, is very important to the research on developing remote sensing images processing software by studying its data structure. This paper discusses what HDF is, why HDF is created, advanced application program interface of HDF, usages and visual tools of HDF, main platform of HDF, basic principles of HDF, file formats of HDF, basic operation to HDF file by multi - file interface and how to determine a file is the HDF file or not ~ etc.
