The performance of upstream pumping mechanical seals has been analyzed, the stru cture properties of the developed upstream pumping mechanical seals was summariz ed and industrial application area of them was given.%分析了上游泵送机械密封的工作原理、结构型式、技术特征，并给出了其工业应用范围，有助于指导上游泵送机械密封的产品开发、工业设计和使用维护。
