The needle tip shape was optimized to reduce the damage of carbon fabrics containing metal powder. In the study, the prop- erties of pierced carbon fabrics with or without metal powder were tested, and the result of needle tip shape optimization was judged by the damage of the pierced carbon fabrics. The study showed that, provided the piercing process was not affected, the carbon fabrics pierced with optimized steel needles with an approximate 2.0 power of tip curve exhibited the highest tensile breaking strength and the lowest piercing damage.%通过优化针尖形态,采用图像采集装置获取针尖形态外形曲线,进行不同针尖形态下含或不含金属粉体碳布穿刺后性能测试,通过碳布穿刺的损伤情况,分析针尖形态优化结果。研究表明,在不影响穿刺工艺的条件下,通过针尖形态优化,针尖曲线幂次近似2.0曲线的钢针穿刺的碳布拉伸断裂强力最高,碳布穿刺损伤最小。
