A Vision of 3D Factory 3D工厂真实写照 Inside a Iow-rise building in a business park at Rock Hill,South Carolina,is a vision of the factory of the future.Several dozen machines are humming(发出嗡嗡声),monitored from a glass-fronted control room by two people looking at computer screens.Some of the machines are the size of a car,others that ofa microwave oven(微波炉),but they all have windows that you can peer into.One is making jewellery,others are producing the plastic grip(塑料夹子)for an electric drill(电钻),the dashboard(仪表盘)of a car,an intricate lampshade(灯罩)and a bespoke(定做的)artificial leg.One is even making parts to build more machines like itself.
