In the actual operation, because of the fault caused by power monitor module itself sometimes stops the running of control module, ABB company sent a letter to cancel this protection signal. However, if the PFI signal of control module connetted inproper, the cancellation of the PFI signal of power may cause unexpect fault. Through a lot of tests in laboratory, the phenomenon of fault in several cases were restored.This paper will analyse in detail to let everybody have a new understanding of the power of PFI signal of ABB Symphony DCS and the importance of connect PFI signal correctly.
