The multitube chimney with steel tubes is a typical power plant chimney most commonly used over the world at present, it possesses the following merits: stable flue gas flow speed, good effect of flue gas dispersion, convenient for maintenance, smaller structural temperature stress, crack and corrosion of reinforced concrete shell can be avoided and the endurance of the power plant chimney as a whole can be improved. So far, a number of such power plant chimneys have been constructed in China.
