EDlTOR’S NOTE: We had published an article on Vol.1, No.1 of this Journal entitled "A study on the schemes of power trons-mission from Three Gorges Project to East China", in which various possible options were discussed from the researcher’s point of view.This paper we present here discusses the same problem but from the planner/designer’s point of view. These different viewpoints aresurely helpful to the final decision of the huge project. We expect some further discussions on this problem to be published on ourJournal.
