The paper describes the present situation and characteristic of domestic medium and small ex citation mode, and some suggestions are presented, which illustrates inevitabilility that micro computer excitation mode is used in modernized computer monitoring power station.%阐述国内中小型水轮发电机励磁的现状及其特点，并提出一些看法，说明在现代化的计算机监控电站，微机励磁使用是必然规律。
