摘要

Huwena analgesic peptide-I (HWAP-I) is a N-tyre calcium channel blocker purified from the venom of the spider S. huwena. The analgesic effect of HWAP-I on a rat model of spontaneous tonic pain (the formalin test) was investigated and compared with that of the ω-conotoxin SNX-111, a novel pain killer which has been finished phase Ⅲ clinical trial and is under the approvement by FDA.
