cqvip:To evaluate the effect of percutaneous translu minal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) on coronary heart disease, 161 cases were treated by this method , After PTCA, 122cases completely revasculized, 30 cases partially, case success rare 94.4%. Among lesion vessels, left anterior descending artery 181, circumflex artery 54 Right coronar artery 77, vessel sucess rate were 85% .77.8%.83.1% respectively; according to classification of ACC/AHH,type A 99, type B 144,type C 69, vessel success rate were 100% .80% .71% respec tively.21 vessels revasculized among 34 vessels with complete occlusion. Myocardial ischemia completely disappeared in 127of 152 patients who were successfully treated by PTCA and al leviated in rest of them. Acute occlusion was found in 2 of 16 patients with one visible vessel tear, one died and another revasculized after emergent deal; vessel tear in rest of them disappeared after coronary artery stent implantation. Among 74 cases followed up, 15 cases with restenosis were sucessfully treated by repeated PTCA, only one failed. Among 17 cases advised to take coronary arteriography, 16 without restenosis and one with restenosis who was also successfully treated by repeated PTCA. So PTCA. is one of effective methods that could both revasculize vessel with stenosis or occlusion. improve myocardial ischemia and get rid of clinical symptoms,especially for type A lesion vessel, it is also a good therapy for restenosis after PTCA. But it should take everything into consideration whether it is adopted in patients with multiple lesion vessels.
