The Use of Antipsychotic Drugs in Elderly Patients with Mental Illness and Its Clinical Progress

Under the influence of the aging trend in the country, in the process of studying the diseases of the elderly, it is found that the probability of suffering from mental illness is increasing, which seriously threatens the physical and mental health of the elderly. Taking the use and clinical progress of antipsychotic drugs for the elderly patients with psychosis as an example, this paper analyzes the ways of taking drugs for the elderly patients with psychosis and the action mechanism of the drugs. It finds out the research progress of antipsychotic drugs, improves the effectiveness of antipsychotic drugs, controls the spread of the illness of the elderly patients with psychosis, and maintains the physical and mental health of the elderly.
