This article describes the GPRS wireless communication technology, and GPRS wireless communication technology used in thernfeasibility of its opplication in outdoor vacuum circuit breaker, and to design appropriate monitoring system that adopts DSP chip as the central processing unit, the monitoring data real—time collection sent to a remote monitoring center, closing operation in accordance with the specific instructions of the GPRS wireless transmission to the next bit machine, the next crew to receive instruction, the processor response and send feedback code to achieve real — time monitoring of circuit breakers. Transmission of data through the database SQL Server 2005 storage and text files in a specific folder to save all records of communication, and facilitate historical inquiry. The host computer provides a friendly, simple and visual operation interface.
