基于SDN/NFV的vCDN网络演进

         

摘要

With the acceleration of global informationization, the demand for video business grows rapidly, and an even higher requirement for carrying, computing, scheduling capacities by the existing CDN network is produced. With the intelligent flexible scheduling mechanism, vCDN network can significantly improve efficiency of the whole network business and utilization ratio of the network equipment. The existing problems in current CDN network of Telecom Operators are analyzed, and in combination with the characteristics of SDN/NFV architecture, a series of technical breakthrough points in the process of SDN/NFV evolution also pointed out, including key performance and security of control layer, centralized-control implementation, interface-protocol normalization, multi-controller collaboration and so on. Finally the SDN/NFV-based vCDN network architecture and its characters are proposed, thus to promote the network transformation ideas of the CDN Network of with Telecom Operators as the representative.%全球信息化步伐的加快,使得视频业务需求量出现井喷,从而对现有CDN网络的承载、运算、调度能力提出了更高要求.vCDN网络所具备的智能化弹性调度机制,可大幅提升全网业务工作效率及网络设备利用率.分析业界现有CDN网络存在的问题,结合SDN/NFV架构特征,指出控制层关键性能与安全性、集中控制实现方式、接口协议归一化及多控制器协同为代表的一系列技术突破点,提出基于SDN/NFV网络架构的vCDN网络架构及其特点,以推进以运营商CDN网络为代表的基础网络的未来转型思路.
