The important function of the homogeneous boundary conditions Et=0 and Hn=0 in solution electromagnetic field of waveguides and cavity resonators is pointed out.It is indicated in what cases the additional boundary conditions (En)/(n)=0 and (Ht)/(n)=0 are useful.%阐述齐次边界条件Et=0和Hn=0在求解波导管和谐振腔中电磁波解的重要作用；说明附加边界条件(En)/(n)=0和(Ht)/(n)=0在何种情况下有用.
