Based on the 0913 return air way tunneling project of Qipanjing Coal Mine, we applied theoretical calculation and numerical simulation to study the reasonable width of narrow coal pillar for gob - side entry driving. First, we calculated the reasonable width of narrow coal pillar with the limit equilibrium theory, and the result is 5. 08m;then, analyzed roadway surrounding rock deformation under different width of coal pillar using FLAC3D numerical simulation. It result showed that, the reasonable width of narrow coal pillar was 5 ~6m. Finally, 5m narrow coal pillar was applied considering the construction management.%以棋盘井煤矿0913回风巷道掘进工程为背景,采用理论计算和数值模拟的方法研究了沿空掘巷窄煤柱的合理宽度.首先,通过极限平衡理论计算出窄煤柱合理宽度为5.08 m.然后,利用FLAC3D数值模拟软件分析了不同的煤柱宽度对巷道围岩造成的变形影响,得出窄煤柱的合理宽度为5~6m.为了现场施工管理方便,最终确定合理的窄煤柱宽度为5m.
