Channel interaction of Ba 6pns (J=1) autoionizing series

The channel interactions between the Ba 6pnl (J=1) autoionizing series with different l and n have been observedby means of unsaturation and saturation excitation methods. The observed interactions were interpreted with thespectral density calculated from the multichannel quantum defect theory, thc results of which are quite satisfactory.
