Urinary tract infection is a commonly seendisease.In recent years,owing to wide but irre-gular use of antibiotics,drug-tolerant bacterialstrains and cases insensitive to Western medicinesare increasing.Hence,much attention has beenfocused on finding medicinal herbs effective inthe treatment of this disease.The authors treatedthis disease using the method of clearing heat anddredging stranguria,with satisfactory results.Thecomparatively complete data of 103 cases are re-ported as follows:
