＜正＞ We report a rare case of a patient who diedsuddenly,in whom bilateral pulmonary arterythrombosis with multiple myeloma was found atautopsy.An estimate of the incidence of pulmonaryembolism in myeloma patients based on postmortemexaminations is about 3.2%.Hypercoagulability anddecreased fibrinolytic capacity due to multiplemyeloma were the probable causes of multiplethromboses.CASE REPORTA 63-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital onNovember 5,2005 due to chest pain,cough andfever for one week.
