Aortoesophageal fistula caused by descending aortic pseudoaneurysm:one case report

摘要

＜正＞ Aortoesophageal fistula（AOF）is a rare（0.01%-0.08%）,but life threatening cause of uppergastrointestinal haemorrhage.Early diagnosis andsurgical intervention are mandatory for survival.Wereport a case of an aortoesophageal fistula due to adescending aortic pseudoaneurysm and review the causes,clinical manifestations,diagnosis and treatment of thisuncommon but often fatal cause of upper gastrointestinalhaemorrhage.
