Photocatalytic Activity of K4Nb6O17 Doped with Fe^3+ and Cr^3+

         

摘要

The photocatalysts K4Nb6017 and K4Nb6017doped with Fe^3+ and Cr^3+ were prepared by solid state reaction and were characterized by powder x-ray diffraction, UV-vis diffusive reflectance and scanning electron microscopy. The photocatalytic activity ofK4Nb6O17 and K4Nb6O17 doped with Fe^3+, Cr^3+ wereinvestigated with methanol as electron donor and Pt as promoter catalyst under+400 nm UV irradiation. The difference of photocatalytic activity between them was also discussed. The individual rate of hydrogen evolution for the K4Nb6O17, Fe-K4Nb6O17 and Cr-K4Nb6O17 as photocatalysts are 5.35, 5.00, 6.25mmol·L^-1.h^-1 respectively.
