Objective To investigate the influence of ultrasonic irrigation on postoperative pain in root canal therapy.Methods A total of 102 patients (102 involved teeth) with pulpitis and periapical periodontitis in need of root canal therapy were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 51 cases (51 involved teeth) in each group. The experimental group received ultrasonic irrigation after root canal preparation, and the control group received conventional injector irrigation after root canal preparation. Occurrence of postoperative pain reactions was compared between the two groups.Results The experimental group had slighter postoperative pain than the control group, and their difference had statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion Implement of ultrasonic irrigation in root canal therapy can reduce patients' postoperative pain.%目的探讨超声荡洗对根管治疗术后疼痛的影响.方法102例患有牙髓炎和根尖周炎, 需要做根管治疗的患者(102颗患牙), 随机分为实验组与对照组, 各51例(51颗患者牙).实验组患牙根管预备后采用超声荡洗的方法, 对照组患牙根管预备后采用常规注射器冲洗的方法, 比较两组术后疼痛反应的发生情况.结果实验组的术后疼痛反应轻于对照组, 差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论在根管治疗过程中, 采用超声荡洗能够减轻患者根管治疗术后疼痛反应的发生.
