The Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB)is a major site of juvenile continental growth(Sengor et al.,1993).This belt incorporates oceanic,intraoceanic and continental margin arc terranes as well as numerous fragments of Precambrian microcontinents and collisional and post-collisional complexes(Kroner et al.,2017).
