Sexual difference analysis of steroid sex hormone related SNPs of genes

Using bioinformatics methods,44 functional SNPs of 21 steroid sex hormone genes potentially related to the formation of digit ratio were selected.The genes were genotyped by using multiple PCR method in a healthy Ningxia population(400 men and 408 women).The recessive model of CYP17A1(rs1004467)gene showed sexual differences.AKR1C3(rs12529)gene showed a significantly lower proportion of C/G genotypes in males than in females under the co-dominant model.GPER1(rs12702047)gene,the recessive model was the genetic model with significant sexual differences.
