The mechanism of three-dimensional printing is discussed and the concept of Three Dimensional Halftoning Algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is based on three-dimensional surface features. First, by investigating the reason for color distortions during 3D printing, the impact of the Gauss curvature is obtained in three-dimensional surface; Second,the Gauss curvature is introduced into the Three Dimensional Halftoning algorithm, and the threshold quantizer is improved; Finally, the path of the halftone processing can be optimized, and the three dimensional halftoning algorithm based on surface characteristics can be proposed. The experiments prove that the algorithm is effective in halftone processing operations of three-dimensional printing.%研究了三维喷绘的机理,提出了三维半色调处理算法的概念.该算法基于三维曲面特征,首先对三维喷绘颜色失真原因进行分析,得到曲面高斯曲率在三维喷绘中的影响;其次,将高斯曲率引入到Floyd-Steinberg算法中,对阈值量化器进行改进;最后,对半色调处理的路径进行优化,形成了基于曲面特征的三维半色调处理算法.实验证明了该算法对三维喷绘的半色调处理作业的有效性.
