The Effect of 19-Substituent on the Stereospecific Hydroxylation of △~5-Steroids Using Performic Acid as Oxidant

摘要

In the studying of the stereospecific hydroxylation of different △^5-steroids with performic acid, followed by hydrolysis with CH3OH/KOH, we found 19-substituting groups considerably affected the reaction and we put forward the mechanism.
