Synthesis of a Novel Series of S-Alkyl Thiobenzoate Compounds as Farnesyltransferase Inhibitors

S-akyl thiobenzoate compounds were designed as farnesyltransferase (FTase) inhibitors.An effective synthetic method was explored. The structures of the target compounds wereelucidated by NMR spectral and elemental analysis.
