CURRICULUM CHANGES AND THE CHALLENGE TO TEACHERS

This paper introduces the background of the English curriculum changes in China’s middle schools, and analyses the major reasons for the significant gap between the expectations of the curriculum designers and the teachers’ implementation of the new materials.
