PAIR RESPONSE IN AN ENGLISH WRITING CLASS

         

摘要

Correcting students’ composition errors has always been an unrewarding and time consuming task for English teachers. However, ’pair response’ can involve both the students’ and the teacher’s joint efforts in dealing with errors. It is argued that pair response can reduce the incidence of errors and provide a chance for the learners to learn from each other. Suggestions for using this teaching technique are also provided.
