The WIPO Summit on Intellectual Property and the Knowledge Economy Conference Will Be Held in 2003 in China

Wang Jingchuan, commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office, announced that 'The Summit on Intellectual Property and the Knowledge Economy Conference' would be held in April 2003 in Beijing on 'The Thirty-seventh Series of Meetings of the General Assembly of the Member States of WIPO', which will be organized by both WIPO and Chinese government. China will fully cooperate with WIPO and make full preparation so as to ensure the success of the conference.
