On September 12,2007,Vice- Chairman Yu Ping met with Secretary- General Zhang Deguang of Euro-Asia Economic Forum at its Secretariat. At the meeting, Secretary-General Zhang Deguang first introduced the development of SCO and reviewed the establishment of the SCO Business Council,pointing out that diversified regional cooperation should be carried out under the framework of SCO and its business council will be a favorable platform for the promotion of Euro-Asia regional cooperation.
