On January 14th, 2016, the two-month-long retrospective exhibition of renownedphotographer Hiroji Kubota was wrapped up in New York. As a unique feature of theexhibition, the platinum prints, developed from his black and white negatives from1963-1989, were displayed at Aperture Gallery, while his technicolor color photosshot from 1978-2003 met the viewers at Sundaram Tagore Gallery. Meanwhile HirojiKubota＇s first comprehensive photographic collection was published, which revealsthe rarely known stories behind his wealth of photos.
