摘要

The passenger-dedicated line (PDL) construction in China is characterized by high standard, great technical difficulties and heavy tasks of construction. By organizing to tackle technical problems, making PDL technology innovation and carrying out scientific research, tests and engineering practice, work has been done to master the technologies for the control of subgrade deformation and settlement, and for the accurate measurement and positioning methods of ballastless track, develop successfully the high-speed turnouts, build the ballastless track test section, and develop the new fastener system for PDL and welding and laying machine for 500 m long rail. As a result, the technologies for bridge and super long tunnel construction have reached internationally advanced levels, the construction technology for large passenger railway stations is getting mature and the technical standard system for infrastructure engineering basically takes shape. By the end of the Eleventh Five-year Plan period, a rapid passenger transport network covering large and medium-sized cities in China will be established. The complete set of technology system for PDL will take shape with basic theoretical research making great progress. Technical system for high-speed railway in China and that for PDL safety will be set up. Team of talents engaging in PDL construction will be cultivated to back up further progress of overall PDL technologies of the Chinese railways.
