Shanghai Coke Chemical Company,Ltd.has kicked off theconstruction of a 450kt/a methanol unit in Wujing,Shanghai.This project will operate on coal,using a gasification unitlicensed by GE coupled with an independently developedmethanol unit.This project is slated for completion and startupby the end of 2007.Currently Shanghai Coke Chemical Com-
