Based on the quantization and classification of three dimensions of development zones,resources endowment, management model and competitiveness , the relationship between competitiveness, types and the management mode of the national development zones are studied. The main conclusions are as follows: the competitiveness of a development zone is significantly correlated to its resource endowment, the competitiveness of export-oriented zones and high-tech zones are stronger than that of industrial zones and mixed zones; the competitiveness of a development zone is significantly correlated to its management mode, the competitiveness of government-served zones are stronger than that of in government-oriented zones and government-managed zones. However, there is no sufficient evidence to show that the management mode of a development zone is correlated to its resource endowment. The top national development zones at competitiveness have advanced in changing management models which show a successful experience for other zones to promote their development by management improving.%本文将资源禀赋、管理模式、竞争力作为开发区建设与发展的三个基本维度，研究了国家级开发区的三维关联性。开发区竞争力与开发区资源禀赋间存在显著的相关性，外向型和高新型开发区竞争力显著强于产业型和混合型开发区；开发区竞争力与开发区管理模式间存在显著的相关性，政府参与型和政府服务型开发区的竞争力显著强于政府主导型开发区；开发区资源禀赋与开发区管理模式不存在相关性，竞争力强的国家级开发区都在管理模式上进行了大胆探索，为我国开发区通过创新管理模式实现跨越式发展提供了宝贵的经验。
