Along with the development of the navigation of China and the increment of the tonnage of the ships, it is necessary to develop large sized floating wharfs to be used in deep water area. It is the first attempt in the open sea area to construct the 'Qi Tou' large reinforced concrete floating wharf with length of 90 m. This paper focuses on the study and the application of the large reinforced concrete cylinder structure drilled and embeded with the whole section in the rock stratum, and a new type of two-way energy absorption device is fitted on the bracing.
