Total Aluminum Demand of China’s Automobile Industry to Reach 1.4 Million Tons by 2005

正 According to data released at China Interna-tional Aluminum Seminar 2003,the total de-mand for aluminum of China’s automobile in-dustry will reach 1.4 million tons by 2005.After 50 years of development,China’s auto-mobile industry has gained an annual produc-tion capacity of over 4 million automobiles,13million motorcycles as well as vehicle parts andcomponents worth of 24 billion US dollars.
