Progress of Investigation in Beam Dynamics for 2 GeV/6 MW Continuous Wave Fixed Field Alternating Gradient Accelerator

Proton beams with an average power of up to5-10 MW are widely used in nuclear and particle physics frontier research,public health and advanced energy fields.In view of the technical development prospects and challenges in the research of high energy continuous wave(CW)fixed field alternating gradient accelerator(FFAG),China Institute of Atomic Energy put forward a new design principle.
