Study on Mechanism of Third Phase Formation in Extraction of Zirconium(Ⅳ) by TBP in n-dodecane

Formation of third phase in Purex process has been investigated under various conditions,because it may limit the concentration of plutonium(Ⅳ)in Purex process,and may affect the normal operation of the process.Because of the specialty of plutonium,an analogue,Zr(Ⅳ)was used to study the third phase formation in this research,which will provide the basic data for third phase formation of plutonium.
