Sulfur dioxide has been found to decrease the chemiluminescence ofluminol-iodine system.A new determination method for sulfur dioxide inatmosphere is developed by applying this reaction to a flow injection gasdiffusion separation system.This permits the determination of sulfur dioxideselectively and rapidly.
