Cell Research is pleased to announce that Dr Dangsheng Li has been appointed as the new DeputyEditor-in-chief for our journal,starting March 2006.Dangsheng received his BS degree(in Cell Biology)from the University of Science and Technology of China,and obtained his PhD(in Molecular Biology)from Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Sciences.After extensive postdoctoral training atNew York University Medical Center,he joined Cell Press in 2004 to serve as an Associate Editor for thepremium biology journal Cell.Dangsheng will be in charge of the scientific editing operations of Cell Re-
