浅谈体育教学在素质教育中的地位作用和途径

Quality education is a reform of Chinese educational cause, and a systematic project involving the whole country and influencing all walks of life. As an important component of quality education, physical education （PE） teaching embodies the following aspects： teaching students some scientific methods and skills of physical exercise, developing students＇ physical quality comprehensively, and fully playing its educational role to promote quality education and train qualified talents for the 21st century.%推进素质教育，是我国教育事业的一场变革，是一项事关全局、影响深远和涉及社会各方面的系统工程。体育教学作为实施素质教育的重要组成部分，不仅要教会学生科学锻炼身体的方法和技能，还要全面发展学生的身体素质。培养良好的心理素质和意志品质，充分发挥其教育功能，推进素质教育，培养21世纪合格人才。
