Understanding the Water Crisis in China：Towards a Harmonious Aquatic Environment

摘要

The water resources in China are much often regarded as insufficient and unevenly distributed. As a result of fast economic development and urbanization in recent years,serious water shortage,contamination and deterioration of aquatic ecosystem are arising. In order to establish a sustainable development,scientific utilization of water resources and protection of the aquatic environment are urgently needed in China.
