By introducing the MODBUS communication protocol this paper gives the ABB's solution of intelligent motor control which is based on MODBUS technology. The article also gives an optimistic prospect of automation control system.%本文通过对MODBUS通信规约的解读，介绍了ABB基于MODBUS总线技术的智能型电动机自动化控制的应用，同时展望了该方案乐观的应用前景。
