The total hydrogen beam more than 150 mA at 75 keV can be routinely extracted from a single 7 mm diameter aperture with the proton fraction up to 90%. A unique structure to improve the reliability was adopted. The ion source was operated continuously for more than 220 h at 75 keV and 110 mA extracted hydrogen current, while two beam trips were recorded in the period, and uninterrupted operation time was about 150 h.
