从建筑畅想到结构实践

"结构成就建筑之美"这个话题使我想起了 RFR 创始人、结构大师 Peter Rice(图1)在 1992 年获得英国建筑师协会颁发的皇家建筑金质奖章时讲过的一段话:"The most powerful way that an engineer can contribute to the work of architects is by exploring the nature of the materials and using that knowledge to produce a special quality. Exploration and innovation are the keys"。在他的设计哲学中。
