AN ANALYSIS OF THE LARGE DEFLECTION OF AN ELASTIC-PLASTIC CANTILEVER SUBJECTED TO AN INCLINED CONCENTRATED FORCE

摘要

Based on the Plastica theory(see ref.[12]),the large deflection of an elastic-perfectlyplastic cantilever subjected to an inclined concentrated force at its tip,before the unloadingin the plastic region occurs,is analyzed in this paper.The emphasis of the analysis is put onthe effects of the angle of inclination of the concentrated force upon the deformed shape,theload-deflection relationship and the length of the plastic region.Both analytical andcomputed results are given.
